The Bun... So HOT this Wedding Season!!!
Tell all the guys to hide their sock drawer because the bun
is in! I have had more requests for a
simple elegant bun this wedding season. Also, I have gotten quite a few request for the bun for clients trying to just give their hair a rest in between hair extensions (weaves).
Whether at the neck line or high in the crown of the head, this simple sheik
style adds a quite elegance especially if your wedding gown is over the top or
has a lot going on.
There are a lot of different buns so let's break them down so you can see which one you may want to rock.
Messy Bun: This bun is the bun that is Organized chaos
(Tina Fey's/Mary J's look). You have to be careful with this look, if
not done correctly, you can look totally like you just woke up and
didn't comb your hair, a (hot mess). I normally like these type buns
in the crown of the head, but it just depends on the face.
Loose
Curls Bun: (My personal favorite type of bun)... This bun looks like
curls pinned in harmoniously together (Mya's look). I think this bun
can work dependent on your face on either part of the head be it crown,
nape, or even pulled to the side.
Sock/Donut
Bun: This bun looks similar to a donut, it is more sleek (when done
right). (Eva the Diva's look) In my opinion this type of bun looks best
either in the crown or at the nape of the neck. I am not really a fan
of these being at the side.
So whether you are wearing for a wedding or just wearing to give your hair a break, these looks are IN! Add deep bangs to change it up! I guess we will all see how long this trend will last. The bun definitely gives new meaning to the phrase "less is more"!

My Review of "The Game" Premeire Looks !!!
Well HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! I hope you all had a great beginning into 2012…..
The Game is back! Hot looks from the Newest Season Premiere!!!
We have long waited for the series to return and it started with a Bang! I really enjoyed the premiere of the first two episodes. So glad I recorded it. Well I would be oblivious if I skipped a review of the looks from the ladies of season 5. Well who shall we start with??? I guess we will go in order of premiere appearance.
· Dr. Melanie Barnett-Davis, M.D (Tia Mowry Hardrict)- Had long flowing hair with soft curls (never goes out of style). Now I am sure Tia has good hair because we remember her from ‘Sister Sister’, but I know she has some “Enhancement” (WEAVE)!
· LaTasha “Tasha” Mack (Wendy Raquel Robinson)- She rocked a long straight weave with swooped bangs long layers. Unoriginal, we have seen this look before. I was hoping to see the look we seen during the promo commercials.
· Jenna Rice (Tika Sumpter)- Another long straight weave. No layers, just bluntly cut. I liked it on her.
· Chardonnay (Brandy Norwood)- Now her hair was my favorite of the night. I love layers with the “choppy edgy” look. Her hair I would have to say was my favorite of the premiere.
· Janay Brice (Gabrielle Dennis)-Her hair was my second favorite. She had a long weave with wavy hair. It looks like the Virgin Indian Hair.
Overall they didn’t over do any of the looks which I like because sometimes less is more. I wish they would have given Wendy Raquel Robinson’s character a different look. We have seen her in long weaves the majority of the seasons. Time to change it up! Stay tuned for more of my opinions AWARD SHOW season is here and I will definitely be giving my opinion on the hair and overall looks!!!
