Breaking News!!! Marta “Magic” Dean, owner of Magic in Motion Hair, is adding salon services! Generally, Magic in Motion Hair had been an on-location only business. When asked about the recent decision to offer salon services Marta said, “My company is constantly evolving. My general client base has grown tremendously and I am very excited about it. Adding salon services will give me the time needed for opportunities as a freelance artist. By moving general clientele to the salon, it will open my schedule more. My on-location work will continue for exclusive clients who requests them, but at a NEW LUXURY RATE tier. Weddings will remain on-location as they are a major part of my business. I am excited about the new venture in the salon, as it will help me to be able to provide a wider variety of services to clientele. My clients will not experience long waits in the salon, they won’t have to worry if I’ll arrive on time for their appointments, and they will be in and out of the salon. We have a system in place that will allow our customers to receive the best in hair care services, at THEIR convenience. My goal is to make their life easier!”

Frizz Free Revolution! w/Tippi Shorter

I am so excited that I had the opportunity to work with Tippi Shorter! She came to Houston for the Avon/Cosmo Magazine Frizz Free Revolution Tour! We had so much fun and I got to pick her brain! She was very nice! We gave free blowouts and product samples away and had a blast! Check out the pictures...

Hair Tutorials (NEW)

So I decided I wanted to put some hair tutorials out for my clients for day to day wear and for other stylists. I will be doing tutorials on everything from weaves to short hair to the latest updo styles! So stay tuned....I just launched a channel on you tube, so be sure to subscribe to check out the latest. The first tutorial has already been posted so be sure to check it out. It is on curling a short 27 peice weave. ( I am still getting the hang of the video editing thing, so it is broke up into four short videos.)

Updates!!!

Hi eveyone! It's been a minute since I have had the chace to update, so I wanted to catch up! Well first, the Beauty Superstars Symposium back in April was a great success! I taught along side LEGENDS! This was so exciting! The Instructors were Miki Wright, Patric Antonio Bradley, Dave Ray, Keith Hurley, Kim Connell, Shante Omotosho, Malaika Tamu Cooper, and of course MYSELF! YEAAAA!!! UPDATES!!!

It has been so long since we blogged taht we need to catch up on everything. So what have we been up to? Well I am going to be a presenter at the Beauty Superstars Symposium. It is coming up this April 11-13, and we will be presenting alongside big hair names such as Kim Connell, Keith Harley, Dave Ray, and Patric Antonio Bradley. I am very excited, more show updates to come.

In another news I recieved notice that Magic in Motion Hair has been selected and has recieved Wedding Wire's Bride Choice Award 2010! This is our second year in a row! What an honor, this award you are selected by BRIDES, for quality of service!

Well wedding season is upon us and Magic in Motion Hair has exciting new about a new service that will be launching SOON!
