Giving Gown Foundation

Volunteering at the giving gown yesterday was SO MUCH FUN!!! I got to be a personal shopper for 4 young ladies helping them pick out prom dresses, shoes, accessories, makeup, and taking them to the seamstress if their dress needed to be altered. OH MY GOD The Giving Gown had EVERYTHING SOOOO BEAUTIFULLY decorated!!! You really felt like a princess while you were there. I got to wear an apron that said "Official FAIRY GODMOTHER", and also I recieved a "Wand". Everything was draped in rhinestones, boas, pink, mirrors, (you know that is my kind of party) I felt like I was in heaven.... WALL TO WALL dresses! AND you would think because the dresses were donated that they wouldn't necessarily be what you would like, WRONG!!!! EVERY DRESS was GORGEOUS!!! There were the most BEAUTIFUL gowns!!! I wish I had known about this organization when I was going to prom. It was so wonderful that I sign up to volunteer again next year. Once the princess selected her oen she got to keep it on as she selected her shoes, makeup, they really looked like little princesses walking around! Also, Magic in Motion Hair donated 6 gift certificates for FREE UPDO's to the organization! If you have a prom dress, makeup, or hair accessories you do not use, donate to the GIVING GOWN!
