It’s been so long since I blogged, I figure I better update everyone with whats going on in Magic’s World. Well here goes…

Training EXTREME goes NATIONAL!
Marta “Magic” Dean will be teaching at the 2010 Beauty Superstars Symposium in Richmond Virginia, and then at the Bronner Brothers Show in Atlanta, Georgia. The February Show info is not posted yet for Bronner, but you just have to keep checking their website for information. But I have already been confirmed as a February Presenter.

Giving Gown Foundation

Volunteering at the giving gown yesterday was SO MUCH FUN!!! I got to be a personal shopper for 4 young ladies helping them pick out prom dresses, shoes, accessories, makeup, and taking them to the seamstress if their dress needed to be altered. OH MY GOD The Giving Gown had EVERYTHING SOOOO BEAUTIFULLY decorated!!! You really felt like a princess while you were there. I got to wear an apron that said "Official FAIRY GODMOTHER", and also I recieved a "Wand". Everything was draped in rhinestones, boas, pink, mirrors, (you know that is my kind of party) I felt like I was in heaven.... WALL TO WALL dresses! AND you would think because the dresses were donated that they wouldn't necessarily be what you would like, WRONG!!!! EVERY DRESS was GORGEOUS!!! There were the most BEAUTIFUL gowns!!! I wish I had known about this organization when I was going to prom. It was so wonderful that I sign up to volunteer again next year. Once the princess selected her oen she got to keep it on as she selected her shoes, makeup, they really looked like little princesses walking around! Also, Magic in Motion Hair donated 6 gift certificates for FREE UPDO's to the organization! If you have a prom dress, makeup, or hair accessories you do not use, donate to the GIVING GOWN! THEY MAKE PROM DREAMS COME TRUE!!! Check out some of the pictures of me and one of my "princesses"! I was a "Fairy Godmother" at work!

Magic in Motion Hair GIVES BACK!!!

Magic in Motion Hair recently volunteered to donate Gift certificates for FREE updos to The Giving Gown Foundation, a Houston organization who donates Prom Gowns to High School Senior Girls who otherwise could not afford them. Magic in Motion Hair will also be volunteering at the "Boutique Day" in which the girls will recieve a personal shopper for selection of their gowns, and accessories. It is then that the ladies will be presented with their gift certificates! This event will take place Friday, March 27, 2009. I am so excited! Pictures from this event to come!

Wow, it has been a long time since I have blogged! Well time to catch up... What has Magic been up to? QUITE A BIT!!!

More recently, the $ecrets of the Millionaire Stylist Symposium hosted by my mentor Mkki Wright and Beauty SuperStars.com . I LEARNED SO MUCH!! I learned some new weaving techniques they are not doing here in Houston, and trying to spread the word about them! I had a great time in Virgina, and plan to attend next year!
