Let’s start from the inside and work our way out. For starters, let’s talk about NUITRTION. This is probably the single most important factor to having healthy hair. Just like any part of the body, the hair needs certain nutrients in certain amounts to be healthy. Have you ever been pregnant and wondered why your hair and nails grew so much, but then after the baby every thing came to a hault? It’s because of VITAMIN SUPPLEMENTS. We take them all during or pregnancy, but stop after we have the baby. The problem is that the average person’s diet (even when not pregnant) doesn’t supply the vital nutrients that we need. Vitamins are so important. I am guilty sometimes of eating out a lot because of time, and it is so important to take vitamins to help the body get some of those nutrients that your diet may lack. This directly affects the amount of growth and general health of the scalp and the hair.
Water flushes the body's systems of toxins that can cause geneal health, skin, and hair problems. I admit that I have to force myself sometimes to drink water but i am striving to increase my water intake daily. I have found that ading a little lemon juice helps me to drink increased amounts of water. So the very first step to growing healthy hair is to FIND A GOOD VITAMIN SUPPLEMENT, and TAKE IT DAILY. Drink six to eight glasses of water daily. Be sure the vitamin include B6, B12, Niacin, Biotin, pantothenic acid and folic acid – the elements found in healthy hair.
